All That Jazz is a professionally staffed & licensed, award-winning, internationally-known dance and performance arts studio located in Grants Pass, Oregon, founded in 1989 by Karen Daggett and Wes Veldink. It offers a complete dance curriculum for ages 3 to adult, beginning through pre-professional levels in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, hip hop, character, lyrical jazz, kids' creative movement and combination classes. During it's 19 years in the Rogue Valley, All That Jazz has maintained its commitment to the highest standard of excellence in dance education.

Our Philosophy

"Everyone should personally experience the Arts...Studies have shown that children who receive early training in music and/or dance experience greater mathematical skill development and higher thinking aptitudes, most notably involving pattern and sequence. Excellent training in dance also develops balance, control, posture, focus and listening skills and promotes self confidence, creativity and a sense of exuberance in the student..."

Mission/Goals

• To instill a love of movement and dance in our students
• To help children and adults understand and appreciate the art of dance
• To create a positive experience and environment in which our students can learn and grow
• To promote the development of age-appropriate physical skills and dance technique
• To promote the development of social skills including:

a. participating and sharing within a group

b. leading and following

c. developing an awareness of personal space and respect for the personal space of others

• To encourage and develop personal body health and wellness in our students
• To educate parents, dancers and the community about the importance of dance in all our lives as a valuable, creative art

Registration

Although class sizes are limited, registration and enrollment is ongoing throughout the year, subject to space availability. New students may enroll online 24 hours a day (see link in the left sidebar) or in person during regular studio class hours.

Studio Hours

Regular studio hours between September 15th and June 25th are:

Monday - Thursday ~3:30 - 7:30pm
*closed Saturday-Sunday....Closed During July...Summer classes resume in August!

Classes are held on all school inservice days, SNOW DAYS (unless notified of closure via studio email) and holidays (Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, etc.)....but closed during Christmas and Spring Breaks. Summer class hours vary.

We do have a studio phone (541.441.0310), but you are more likely to get a quick response to your questions about classes, enrollment, etc. by sending us a note via our studio email address (jete100@yahoo.com) OR using our "Contact Us" link in the left side bar here on the website.  We are not always able to have someone at our front desk to answer calls during class hours, so email is your best bet for submitting questions to us for prompt answers.
